2 Easy & Tasty Dessert Recipes For Christmas Dinner

Christmas is only a couple of days away and in some households, all the preparations start over a month in advance.

Dessert is often the highlight of the holiday meal, so what better than to make a good impression by making one of these incredibly delicious yet easy dessert recipes that are perfect for Christmas, whether you’re hosting or are invited to have dinner?

1. Spiced Aztec Hot Chocolate

Everyone’s up to have a smooth and warm cup of hot chocolate during winter, and if you drink it in the company of your loved ones it tastes even better. Here’s what you’ll need:

3 cups of whole milk, 2 cups of half and half, 2 cinnamon sticks, 15 oz of dark chocolate, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, ½ cup of tequila, and a pinch of salt.

Warm up the milk, half and half, and cinnamon sticks in a saucepan until it simmers, and stir occasionally. Add the chocolate and whisk until it is completely melted, add the vanilla, and a pinch of salt and let it cool for about 10 minutes. Once it cools down a little add the tequila and serve immediately.

2. Chocolate-Cranberry-Orange Mini Cakes

This is one of the easiest and tastiest cake recipes you’ll ever make, the only downside is that you’ll probably want to hire professional house cleaning services to clean your kitchen afterward. This is what you’ll need:

A box of chocolate cake flour mix, a bag of fresh cranberries, ½ cup of orange zest, ½ cup of sugar, a saucepan, 100 grams of dark chocolate, ½ cup of heavy unsweetened whipping cream, and a circular cookie cutter.

Bake the chocolate cake following the recipe in the box and let it cool down. While the cake is in the oven whisk together the bag of cranberries, orange zest, and sugar into a saucepan in high flame, stirring constantly until the sugar is dissolved, and you get a jam consistency then let it cool.

In another bowl prepare the ganache, by simply putting the heavy cream in a pan on low flame and adding the chocolate, stir until everything is well mixed and the chocolate takes a creamy consistency.

With the cookie cutter cut out circles in the cake, sandwich two pieces together with a generous spread of cranberry-orange jam and drip a generous amount of chocolate ganache on top of it. Decorate with a couple of fresh cranberries and a small natural pine branch.

Remember that if after all the cooking you don’t feel like cleaning you can give us a call to set you up with professional maids who can customize the house cleaning services to meet your needs.
